As far as the website goes, it’s powered by WordPress. After about a month, I’ve decided to point my domain back to my own server instead of using Tumblr. I’ve been dabbling more with WordPress on my other project websites, and I missed being able to work with it on something completely personal like this domain. It’s also a little weird to get personal on Tumblr when the community mostly seems to be about reblogging interesting or funny things. Which is awesome and fun and I love it! But I missed having a more personal outlet.

Current design.

I’ve gotten into dabbling with Google Web Fonts. On this page now, you see “Droid” (general text) and “Waiting for the Sunrise” (headings). Fun! And my favorite price: free. Font in “Oh So Ang” logo is Euphorigenic. Icons in footer from iconfinder.com.

ohsoang.com has been in existence since April 2010. Before that, I was at ninjela.com since 2008 and before that, I was at silencia.net since 2002. There were some other short-lived homes too (ang.nu, crankypants.org); I’ve been around for quite awhile.

Silencia Network

I’ve owned silencia.net since October 2002. It was my personal domain for several years before I started moving that around. It’s sat mostly dormant for the past couple of years, but I reopened it in December 2011 as a network site. I host subdomains for free, and have various projects there.

  I’ve been co-owner of Glitter Web Directory since 2003 with Shannon. Websites are listed in several categories. Moderated for quality.
• Silencia Rotation
  An 88×31 button rotation site.

Bitchin’ Network

On a cheeky whim, I registered bitchin.me in December 2011. I often describe myself as “bitchin’ as shit”, and I thought it would be a fun domain to have projects on. I host subdomains for free there, and work on various projects and a small rant blog.

• Bitchin’ Plugboard
  A little plugboard site for 88×31, 80×15, and 468×60 buttons. I moderate it pretty closely to make sure the links are worthwhile to click on.
• Bitchin’ Top 20
  A topsite for the most bitchin’ sites on the web.  People join with their 88×31 buttons and put a code on their website. When a visitor clicks their link they get a “vote” and move up the list, increasing their exposure. Moderated closely for quality.

Tumblr

Tumblr is so fun and easy. Some project ideas are best made with this particular service.

• Inconvenient Love
  My outlet for missing my boyfriend who lives far away. This is a tumblog dedicated to love that is inconvenient—whether it be long distance, unrequited, or forbidden.

  My personal/miscellanous tumblr. I reblog and post anything that interests me!

  The Quilting Bee is a great little pixeling and social community.  I participate in a forum, games, and various activities that change monthly with the community. It’s been a fun and indulgent challenge and opened a few new channels for me, like learning how to do pixel graphics and making new friends!
